Storm Shadow is known as the deadly ninja and arch-rival of Snake Eyes. His real name is Thomas S. Arashikage and he is a former member of the Arashikage clan, an ancient Japanese ninja family. Although he was originally introduced as an agent of Cobra, his complex background reveals that he is not purely evil, but is driven by honor, loyalty and revenge. Throughout the series, he often switches sides, sometimes fighting alongside the Joes and other times as an enemy.
